WellyLUG

The Wellington Linux Users Group, better known as WellyLUG, is a group of people who are interested in Linux and Open Source in general. Anyone may join WellyLUG and participate online, in person or both. The aims of WellyLUG are to exchange Linux and Open Source software knowledge and experience, to encourage the usage of Linux and Open Source, by introducing it, explaining it, and helping people to install it, and to have a good time, meet other people and to make friends.

SuperHappyDevHouse

SuperHappyDevHouse Aotearoa is a monthly hackathon, combining serious and not-so-serious productivity with a fun and exciting party atmosphere. Their events are all about rapid development, ad-hoc collaboration and cross pollination. Hardcore coders, l33t hax0r, passionate designers, and other types that enjoy software and technology development.

OLPC

OLPC Wellington is a group that gets together each Saturday mid-morning at a cafe (currently Southern Cross) to drink coffee and test-drive the latest version of the software for the XO.

Amberdms

Amberdms is a Wellington-based company providing software development, Linux consulting and other IT services, with particular focus on developing open source solutions. NZ Registry Services

NZRS is a limited liability company, 100% owned by InternetNZ. It was established in May 2002 to operate and manage the registration of .nz domain names and the operation of the Domain Name System (DNS) in the .nz domain name space. The Shared Registry System (SRS) is the computer system used by NZRS to operate and manage the domain name register.
